Terms and Conditions
Welcome to abbastrekkingandtours.com. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for booking and participating in tours organized by ABBAS TREKKING & TOURS (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. Please read them carefully. By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Travel Preparation and Personal Items
Travelers are kindly requested to carry a valid CNIC, personal hand sanitizers, and any medications they are currently using. Please keep these items accessible at all times for your safety and well-being during the trip.
2. Itinerary Changes and Natural Circumstances
While we strive to follow the intended itinerary, unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle issues or natural calamities may necessitate modifications. The company will do its best to inform and assist travelers, but cannot be responsible for missed destinations or delays. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
3. Prohibited Items and Safety Measures
For safety reasons, illegal or prohibited items, including weapons, are strictly not allowed during the tour. We maintain strict policies to ensure a secure environment for all participants.
4. Vehicle Conditions
During mountain routes, the vehicle’s air conditioning may be turned on or off as required to prevent overheating. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
5. Accommodation Sharing
Shared accommodations may include 2-3 beds or mattresses. Guests may need to share sleeping arrangements, and we kindly ask everyone to behave respectfully and cooperatively with fellow travelers.
6. Itinerary Changes
The itinerary may be altered due to weather, political situations, or other unforeseen circumstances deemed necessary by the organizers or drivers for safety and smooth operation. Such changes may be made without prior notice; the company is not responsible for these modifications.
7. Cancellation Policy
The company reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time if deemed necessary. In such cases, all paid advance amounts will be fully refunded.
8. Conduct and Behavior
Participants are expected to behave ethically and respectfully towards local residents and fellow travelers. Unacceptable behaviors, such as misconduct, abusive language, or substance abuse, may lead to termination from the tour without refund. Your cooperation is appreciated.
9. Travel Risks
Travel in mountainous or remote areas involves inherent risks such as landslides, avalanches, or accidents. The company, guides, and organizers will not be responsible for any unforeseen incidents or damages.
10. Personal Belongings
The organizers cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the trip. Travelers are advised to keep valuables secure and under their control.
11. Payments and Refund Policy
Once the advance payment is received, it is non-refundable under any circumstances. The remaining balance must be paid to the guide during the trip and is also non-refundable. Participants leaving the trip early will not be entitled to any reimbursement.
12. Booking Extensions
To extend your stay or booking, an additional fee of Rs. 5,000 per seat applies, payable in advance. This fee is non-refundable.
13. Mountain Trip Vehicle Conditions
During mountain journeys, the air conditioning in vehicles may be operated intermittently to prevent overheating.
14. Unforeseen Events
We are not responsible for delays or destinations missed due to natural disasters, political unrest, vehicle breakdowns, or other unpredictable factors. Refunds cannot be issued on these grounds.
15. Additional Days & Extra Charges
Requests for extra days incur a fee of Rs. 4,500 per person. If fuel prices increase during or before the trip, we reserve the right to charge an additional Rs. 1,000 for every Rs. 20 increase.
16. Seat Allocation & Preferences
Seats are assigned based on reservations. Preferences cannot be guaranteed unless extra paid. Seating will rotate throughout the trip (front to back and vice versa), regardless of initial placement.
17. Pricing & Blackout Dates
Prices may vary significantly on blackout dates (e.g., Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, New Year’s). Please contact us directly to get the latest rates during these periods.
18. Children & Accommodation
- Children over 8 years are counted as adults.
- Children from 3 to 8 years pay half the adult rate.
- Children under 3 years are free but will not be allocated a separate bed unless arranged.
19. Accommodation Policy
Hotels are subject to availability; if the preferred accommodation is not available, similar properties will be provided. Check-in time at hotels is from 12:00 PM, and check-out is scheduled for 10:00 AM.
20. Meals and Personal Expenses
Meals outside the included tour package are not covered. Personal expenses such as tips, laundry, park entries, museum tickets, and other incidental costs are not included and are the responsibility of the travelers.
21. Transportation Arrangements
Transportation will be organized according to the group size to ensure comfort and safety throughout the journey.
22. Passport and Visa Requirements
All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking and upon arrival to comply with immigration and security regulations.
